The 1st international and the 3rd national conference Biomathematics (2022) will take place virtually. The Conference will be hosted by School of Mathematics and Computer Sciences and School of Biology at Damghan University. This event is a multidisciplinary meeting forum for scientists and researchers who develop and apply mathematical and computational tools to the study of phenomena in the broad fields of biology, medicine, environmental science, biotechnology, bioengineering, etc.

“The Conference on Biomathematics” intends to introduce the mathematical methods and models and their applications in medicine, biology, and environment. The current Conference provides a circumstance for scientists and researchers in various fields to come together to develop and apply mathematical and computational tools to study phenomenon in a wide range of life sciences and inter-disciplinary fields.
This inter-disciplinary event involves different kinds of scientific fields, including biomathematics, biophysics, medical physics, medicine, biotechnology, bioengineering, and so on. The first National Conference on Biomathematics was held on 12-13 March 2019 in University of Neyshabur, Mashhad-Iran. The second National Conference on Biomathematics was held on 22-23 October 2020 in University of Tabriz, Tabriz-Iran. The first International and the third National Conference on Biomathematics will be held on 19-21 January 2022 in Damghan University, Iran. Due to the current coronavirus pandemic, this Conference will be held virtually.

Biomathematics seeks mathematical illustration and modelling of biological phenomenon using applied mathematical techniques and tools. This could be beneficial in both theoretical and practical research. An annually Conference can provide an appropriate opportunity for the amplification of knowledge and experience, and expansion of thought and imagination in this regard. Thanks to the cooperation of scientists and researchers of different fields, we hope to see more connections between specialists of mathematical, biological and medical fields in both national and international levels.
